Josiah Lim BSc Hons, AHPC
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Josiah graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physiotherapy from the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) – Trinity College Dublin (TCD) joint degree programme.
He began his career at Singapore General Hospital (SGH), where he gained extensive experience managing a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, ranging from acute and chronic injuries to post-operative recovery, everyday strains, and complex persistent pain. Additionally, he was part of a specialised orthopaedic team that worked closely with orthopaedic surgeons to support patients before and after surgery, using evidence-based rehabilitation and functional outcome measures to optimise recovery.
Beyond the hospital setting, Josiah has gained valuable experience working with competitive athletes across multiple sports. Notably, he served as the physiotherapist for Geylang International Football Club and the Lion City Sailors Football Club Academy, and completed an attachment with the Singapore National Football Team during his university training. He is also trained in GEMt Dry Needling and Sports Massage, and is experienced in a range of rehabilitation technologies including shockwave therapy and therapeutic ultrasound.
Outside the clinic, Josiah enjoys staying active through sports such as football, tennis, golf, basketball, and volleyball. He also has a passion for adventure sports, including surfing and snowboarding, and enjoys exploring different cultures through travel and food.
Josiah believes rehabilitation should go beyond relieving pain. It should restore strength, rebuild confidence, and help people return to the activities they love. He combines evidence-based practice with hands-on treatment, targeted exercise, and clear education to create personalised rehabilitation plans that empower each individual to take ownership of their recovery.
